Seminar on Accounting Reforms Project

A Seminar on Accounting Reforms Project was organized by Accounting Reforms Directorate at North Western Railway (NWR) Headquarter, Jaipur on 11th August, 2015. The Seminar was attended by General Manager, NWR, PHoDs, FA&CAO, NWR, DRM/Ajmer and other HoDs of NWR Railway. Presentations on various facets of Accounting Reforms Project including sharing of experience on Pilot Study being conducted at Ajmer Division and Ajmer Group of Workshops were made by ED/AIMS&AR, officials from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Director, Accounting Reforms. The object of this seminar was to sensitize Executive and Technical Departments about their role and responsibility in implementation of Accounting Reforms Project comprising of Accrual Accounting and upgradation of cost and Management Accounting System.
