With profound grief, the IRAS fraternity mourns the sad demise of Shri N. Krishnamurthy, a distinguished IRAS officer of 1968 Exam Batch who passed away on 23.03.2021. Born on 27/4/1945, Shri N. Krishnamurthy joined Railways on 5/7/1969. During his service he held many important posts and voluntarily retired as Additional Member/Budget in the month of March’2005. Shri N. Krishnamurthy was an excellent officer with clarity of thought. Colleagues will always remember him as an extremely bright, painstaking, meticulous and scholarly officer. He was a very kind and gentle soul, humble, and loved by all. Our deepest condolences to his family as we stand by them in this hour of grief. May the departed soul rest in peace.
